CR7, YOU WILL SWEAT, CHIEVO COACH PROMISES!!!

Top Juventus transfer, Cristiano Ronaldo, will make his Serie A debut today at Chievo, and the Gialloblu's coach, Lorenzo D'Anna is warning the seven-time defending champions and their Portuguese superstar, that they are in for a rough evening at the Bentegodi.

Juventus coach Max Allegri yesterday confirmed that the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star will start in the first game of the season and D'Anna is hoping his team will ensure a tough start to life in Italian football for the five-time Ballon D'Or winner.

"We'll make them sweat," D'Anna told reporters on the even of the contest. "We've got to start with the spirit of belief and hoping to take advantage of the relatively new nature of the Juventus line-up."

Ronaldo moved to Juventus in a 112 million Euros deal last month and it will be interesting to see how he matches up against Serie A opponents, who are known to be considerably more tactically organised than teams in La Liga.

"If we were to start feeling we were going to lose, then we may as well just stay home or go to the beach. It starts at 0-0, we want to play open football, albeit knowing it's a mountain to climb," said D'Anna.

"Our idea is to make Juve sweat for every point. It won't just be Juve on the field with us as a punching bag, as we want to cause them real problems and make them struggle if they are to win."

The coach said he will not focus his approach on Ronaldo, rather on stopping the entire Juve team.

"If we were just to focus on blocking Ronaldo, we'd lose sight of the tremendous quality throughout the Juventus squad," continued D'Anna.

"We are a solid side and will play against Juve as a unit, not create some tactical cage for Ronaldo. This game is an opportunity to face one of the top sides in the world and makes me feel like when I was a player. We've got to go at it 100 km/h, without any outside worries."
