Barcelona transfer news: Josep Maria Bartomeu plans Chelsea and Bayern Munich swoop (Photos)

BARCELONA are reportedly planning to make four key signings this summer after their early Champions League exit.

The Catalan side need a win against Deportivo on Sunday evening to clinch the La Liga title.

But an early exit from the Champions League last month has tarnished Ernesto Valverde's debut season at the club.

Barcelona were knocked out of the competition by Roma, despite taking a 4-1 lead into the second leg.

And the shock quarter-final result has forced chief Josep Maria Bartomeu to sanction four new deals this summer.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Barcelona will look to poach key players from European heavyweights like Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea to ensure the club can win the Champions League in 2019.

The publication claims Antoine Griezmann is the club's main priority this summer.

But in a surprise turn of events, Chelsea's Marcos Alonso is also being touted as a new arrival.

To add, Don Balon also claim Munich's Joshua Kimmich is another target for Valverde.

The right-back would cost around €50m in the summer.

Barcelona transfer news: Five most likely signings this summer

Barcelona are keen to invest in some of the world’s top players this summer – but who are their most likely signings?

Finally, after failing to impress since his summer switch, Yerry Mina could be replaced by Matthijs de Ligt.

The 18-year-old Ajax defender is being watched by a number of European outfits.

Barcelona have spent big already this season to soften the blow of Neymar leaving for PSG.

Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho were brought in for over €200m by Valverde.
